By Telegraph—Press Association. WELLINGTON, January 12. The following is Rev. D. C. Bates' summary and forecast:—Heavy rain has fallen on the West Coast and in other parts at times, and. cloudy weather prevailed. The barometer has risen about half an inch at the Bluff. Westerly winds have prevailed with increasing southerlies in the South. The present indications are for a rising barometer, with fairly strong southerly winds. Showery /and changeable weather may be exp*iced generally.
