IMPORTANT SCHEMES PREPARED.
Received January 11, 8.45 a.m. LONDON, January 10, Mr W. . Davidson, Inspector-Gen-eral of Public Works for Victoria, and Sir William Matthews, of the engineering firm of Coode, Son, and Matthews, have formulated a scheme for dealing wiith passenger and cargo traffic in the port of Melbourne. Sir'E.* Raban, Admiralty Director of Works, has arranged a scheme for a graving dock for Melbourne.
