THE MASTERTON SHOW.
The twenty-third annual Show under the auspices of the Masterton A. and P. Association will beheld on the Showgrounds, Dixon street, on Tuesday, and Wednesday, February 15th and 16th, and on the 17 th and 28th; the annual Ram Fair will be held. For years past this popular and successful Association has been making records upon records at each succeeding Show, and it is fully anticipated that at the coming Show the entries will far outstrip any record yet made. The quality of the entries has year after year been improving in every class of stock, and the present season gives promise that exhibitors will bring forward their exhibits showingjan all round improvement upon former years. At the forthcoming Show there will be over £I.OOO offered in prizes in addition to ten handsome challenge cups, and the ever-popular | horse jumping competitions will alone receive £l5O in prize money. Show entries will close with the Secretary, Mr G. R. Sykes, at 9 p.m., on Saturday, 29th instant, and for the Ram Fair at 9 p.m., on Monday, 31st instant.
