THE AUSTRAL UNISCOPE COMPANY.
. •> . A PLEASING ENTERTAINMENT. The above Company could certainly have found no fault with the liberal patronage extended to their by the public last evening, for the attendance must have been in the vicinity of a thousand, and those present had * no fault to find with the entertain ment provided, for it was good from first to last. The pictures were shown by means of electric light, the dynamo generating 25,000 candle power. Each picture thrown on the screen was remarkably clear, and there was a total, absence of flicker " The programme submitted was a "varied one, refined, and pleasing throughout, including a series of fine films grouped as "Glimpses of other Nations," life sketches such as The Planter's Wife," "Ihe Little Dog Clipper," "The King and the Prin cess," and humuurous pictures. The Uniscope Company will present a fresh series of films each evening during the next week, and the entertainment is one that can be recommended. Good business should resull during the Maßterton season.
