Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report on Mr E. W. Toogood's clearing sale, held yesterday as follows:—There was a large attendance of the public, and bidding was very brisk, and we have to report a most successful sale. S.m. ewes. 7s Id; lambs, medium, 6s 8d to 7s to 8s 2d; Southdown rams, 2Jgns: Shropshire rams, 10s; cows to calve April, £4 15s to £5; hacks, £6; sow with litter, £4; furniture and sundries at current rates.
