OPEN-AIR PICTURES.
Quite a novel entertainment will be presented to Masterton residents on Monday night next, the Austral Uniscope Picture Company in keeping with the times will commence a season of open-air entertainments on. the Showgrounds, with a series of animated pictures. The grounds are to be lit by electricity, supplied by the Company's own up-to-date The Masterton Municipal Brass Band has been secured for the musical pars of the programme. With this splendid band and the high standard pictures screened by the Company will make the evenings most enjoyable. This class of entertainment is all tko, rage in Australia. Sydney alone runs 34 picture entertainment in the open-air, Auckland 10 and Napiee one, so Masterton residents will b§ able to enjoy a splendid evening's enjoyment in the cool and refreshing breeze. Seating accommodation will be supplied, leaving nothing tc be desired by patrons.
