CHESS CHAMPIONSHIP.
By Telegraph—Press Association. AUCKLAND, January 7. The play off game for the Chess Championship, between Grierson and Mason, resulted in a draw, and a second game tor possession of the title commenced at 7.45 o'clock. The second game was adjourned in an even position until the morning.
