CANTERBURY v. AUCKLAND.

The Plunket Shield cricket match between repre3entative teams of the Auckland and Canterbury Cricket Associations was commence to-day, at Victoria Park, in glorious weather. The attendance was good, and the ground was in splendid order, the outfield being like a billiard table. Canterbury's first innings only ! realised 140, while Auckland has made 201 to the loss of nine wickets. The following are the scores: CANTERBURY. First Innings. D.
