THE MISSING WARATAH.
SUGGESTED SEARCH STEAMER
Received January 5, 10.30 a.m. MELBOURNE,' January 5. The State Premier, Mr Murray, has received a cablegram from the Agent General in London stating that the steamer Caldergrove, now at Auckland, might undertake the search for the missing steamer Waratah. The probable cost would be £2,000 per month. A definite decision is expected to be .come to to day.
