Messrs Abraham and Wiliiams, Ltd, report as follows:—The third sale of the series was nelri on Menday, when total catalogues comprising about 20,000 bales were offered, of which we presented a catalogue of 2,125 bales, which would have been augmented to the extent of 700 bales, but this number had to be shut out owing to the late arrival. Buyers were present in record numbers, and were representative of -Ameiicui, Homeland Conn .final house.--. Lambs- wool . al.-o elicited keen competition, our top .price for clean crossbred lambs being 11 Jd. Our top price for fletcd wocl was 12|d for a well grown bright Romney clip, from the Wairarapa. Half bred from Marlborough realised 12Jd. Some of our best sales were as follows:—WGP, 12 bales Romney 12£ d, .8 bales iuomney 12d, 3 bales qotted 9|d, bellies and pieces 7Jd; Sedgemere, 39 bales half bred, slightly earthy, 12Jd, 19 bales threequarterbred 10£ d, pieces Bfd, bellies 7Jd; OHD—Wairiki on account O.H. Druce, Kumeroa, a well grown bright wool attractively got up realised as follows:—22 bales firsts llfd, 34 bales seconds 9Jd, 17 bales pieces 7Jd, super pieces 9d, first lambs Hid, second lambs 9d, bellies 6|d.
