The land is heavily timbered, and estimated to carry—totara 3 0,000,000 feet, rimu 35,000,000 feet, matai 12,000,000 feet, white pine 6,000,000 feet; total, 63,000,000 feet. The totara is very fine class of timber, from 50 to 90 feet in length and over 16 feet in girth. Kimu is very good class of timber, being clean from the ground and very uniform, is long and well girthed, growing more like kauri, runs from 3,500 to 4,000 feet per tree. Matai is also a clean lot and very regular, from 45 to 50 feet m length. White pine is exceptionally good, trees are very straight and long, also very clean from the butt. Price, £1 3,000. Terms.
