ATTACK BY A MONKEY.

By Telegraph- Press Association. AUCKLAND, January 4. On Saturday Miss Gwynneth, of Cambridge, was going home after witnessing a wedding in St. Andrew's Church, and was proceeding along Hamilton Road when she was savagely attacked by 'a monkey, which had broken loose from its owner's residence. The lady was considerably mauled about and bitten. Fortunately, the owner of the monkey heard her screams, and, rushing to the rescue, recovered the animal before very serious injury was done.
