The second annual meeting of the Wellington Garrison Rifle Association was concluded in fine weather at Trenthaw to-day, although a tricky wind prevailed. Iras ___ 4 R. J. King, of Opaki, won ffiS Open Champonshiip with afl aggregate of 268, and Private A. E. Turner, of the City Rifles, won the Yolunteer Championship, with 268. Other leading aggregates were:—F. Wilkie, Upper Hutt 267; A. Marsnail, Karori, 265; Maisey, Karori, 261; McLachlan, Petone, 261. The Junior Championshiip was won by Private "A. B. Joplin, of the Civil Service Rifles, with 244. The Teams Match was >on by Opaki Rifle Club with 1,267, the Karori Club being second with 1,232. The Licensed Victuallers' Cup was won b A. Marshall, Karori.

Nielson, of Dannevirke, won the aggregate prize with a snore of 288, Lieut. Devore, of Auckland, being second with 283. The Teams Match was won by the Dannevirke Rifles with a score of 482, the Akarana Riflb Club being second with 467.
