THE FLOODS IN PORTUGAL.
KING MANUEL VISITS LOCALITIES WHICH SUFFERED. CROWDS IMPLORE HELP. OPORTO, December 29. By the steamer Tigris, King Manuel arrived at Oporto and visited the localities which suffered so severely from the recent floods. His Majeßty on-his tour of inspection was surrounded by crowds, who implored him to help them. He opened a public subscription list. The King will visit other centres which were flooded.
