RACING. THE DERBY. LONDON. December 28. There was excitement in racing tircles as to whether D Maher would Tide Neil Gow or Lemberg in the Epaora Derby. The owners offered large retainers Maher has accepted the mount on Neil Gow. Lemberg is owned by Mr Farlie and Neil Gow by the Earl of Bosebery., Maher is one of the leading English riders.
