«w SOUTHEY-HOLLINGS. ~~ A quiet but pretty wedding wag solemnised yseterday by the Rev. A T. Thompson, 8.A., «,D., at the residence of the bride's sister, Devon Street, Masterton, the contracting parties being Miss Maud M. L. Hollings, second daughter of Mr A. W. G. Hollings, of Masterton, and Mr L Southey, of Castlepoinfc. The bride, who was given away by her father, was attended by Miss Raynor as bridesmaid. Mr A. Southey* brother of the bridegroom, was best man. Mr and Mrs Southey let in the afternoon fur the North on their honeymoon.

A pretty wedding was solemnised in St. Mark's Church, Carterton, yesterday, when Miss Kate E. Rath* bone, second daughter of Mrs W.l Booth, of (Harrington House, was married to Mr Alex, b'aillie, of Palmerscon North. The bride, who was given away by her step-brother, Mr W. Howard Booth, and wore a creme coat and skirt, and heliotrope hat. Miss Effie Booth wore a very pretty crernenet dress trimmed with, insertion and pale blue ribbon, silver straw hat trimmed wtih pale blue; Miss Rrann, wnite dres& trimmed with embroidery, creme hat with green quill; Mrs Wickbam (Waitara) wore a black and white dress, white hat with black and white marguerites; Mrs Rathbone, sage green stripad Empire dres3 with guipure trimmings, green hat; Mrs W. Howard Booth, creme embroidered net over silk, hat with blue band and bunches of cherries; Mrs W. Henry Booth, white, dress, black hat with plumes; Miss K. Booth, white drass, cinnamon hat with roses; Miss G. Booth, white dress, wedgewood hat with wreath; Miss Littlejohn (Wellington), black dress, white hat with trimmings; Miss Cherrett (Wanganui), mole-coloured Empire dress with guipure trimming, biown hat with forget-me-nots; Miss B. Yriunsr, creme dre?s, brown hat with roses.;. Miss MacGoun, white dress, heliotrope hat. The Kev. R. Young, Vicar of the Parish, officiated, and Miss Mona Moore presided at the organs
