WEATHER FORECAST. I '"* By Telegraph—Press Association. WELLINGTON, December 28. The Rev. D. C. Bates' summary and forecast of the weather is as follows:—A cyclonic disturbance passed off the East Cape on Sunday, and a minimum of 29.20 inches was recorded on the s. s. Monowai at sea. This was followed by a small westerly in the south, and in the rear of both disx turbances, with the rising barometer. was a very heavy southerly gale, <vhich raged on the North and East Coasts on Saturday and Sunday. The present indications are for an extensive westerly area of low pressure, ™ bringing high westerly winds and unsettled weather. The southerns now prevailing, backing shortly tor a further fall in the South. A change is now due on Thursday evening.
