Every week sees an improvement in the entertainments provided, and it Is safe to say that last night's programme eclipsed all others in point of merit and variety. The rounds of applause that greeted each film was evidence that the taste of the audience was suited. The scenic and dramatic films were of special merit and showed the high standard to which tinematography has reached. The pictures calling for special mention were:—""Bospborous by Moonlight," "Ambulance Dogs," "Unwelcome Chaperon," "Ches3 Players,'' "The Strike," "Adventures of a Watch,' "A Well Deserved Revenge," "Boyhood of Vidocz," "From Egg to Spit," "Animated Matches," ''Ragamuffins Marriage," "The Scar," and "Physical Culture's Surprise Party." £ On Christmas Night Messrs Thornpnsn and Payne intend to present a programme that will surpass any other shown in Masterton, while on Boxing Night (December 27th) a first-class noliday entertainment will be provided.
