A MODERN BOOT EMPORIUM.
The success of Mr J. Carpenter's boor and shoe business in Masterton can be traced to three things—good management—quality in boots and shoes—and easy prices. Like a certain politician Mr Carpener has always endeavoured to h'nd out what the people wanted and then given it to them. The stock in his store at present is unusually large, special importations of stylish footwear having been made for the Christmas season. The range is so comprehensive that every taste is catered for —and at prices to suit every purse. Right down amongst the low prices, however, there is not an inferior boot or shoe—the same uniform quality characterises the whole stock. Those who prefer really stylish boots or shoes, embracing all the little extras that make for effect—must expact to pay a little more—but the person who requires a comfortable boot, guaranteed to wear well and look well, can have his requirements filled at Carpenter's as cheaply as anywhere in the Dominion. The special advertisement appearing in another column is worthy of careful perusal, as it deals with Christmas presents.
