LAWN TENNIS.

MASTERTON CLUB. The fifteenth annual Wairarapa Open Championship Meeting and Handicap Tournament, held under the auspices of the Masterton Lawn Tennis Club, will take place on the Masterton Tennis Club's courts on Friday and L'jiturday, 21st and 22nd January, 1910. Five courts toI be available for the purposes 6f this tournament, and entries are invited for the following events (four championships and five handicaps) : Men's Championship Singles, best of three sets; Men's Championship Doubles, best nf three ;c's; Ladies' Championship Singles, best of 17 games; Combined Championship Doubles, best of 17 games; Men's Handicap Singles, Ist and 2nd classes, 60 points each; Men's Handicap Doubles, Ist and 2nd classes, 70 points each; Ladies HandicapSingles, 50 points; Ladies' Handicap Doubles, 50 points: Combined Handicap Doubles, 50 points. Entries close wit l > the secretary, Mr A.
