General Keim, the deposed leader of the German Navy League, declares that France wants Alsace-Lorraine, Russia wants Balkan influence, Italy wants part of Austria, England wants supremacy in the naval world, and Germany wants nothing. Lieutenant Bellairs (Liberal M.P. for King's Lynn) speaking at Salford, said that Germany would never pay for her fleet with borrowed money for ships that last twelve years unless the she meant business within three or four years.
