CHEAP BREAD AND OTHER MATTERS.
To the Editor. Sir,—ln accordance with an advertisement placed in your widely circulating paper we have sold bread since Monday last at a big reduction on prices previously ruling. We are now in possession of facts which go to prove that an attempt is being made to block us from getting flour from the Flourmillfcrs' Association. This means, if we were willing to sit down to it, dear brea.l for the people of Masterton. We do riot intend to take .this treatment sitting down. There'' are other channels where flour is;, obtainable, and we have the cash to get it. A co-operative bakery ; will hit the opposition before long in the place where they store their equilibrium.—Yours etc., J. BULPITT. |
