METEOROLOGICAL.
By Telegraph—Press Association. WELLINGTN, December 15. The following is the Rev. D. C. Bates' summary and torecast: —Moderate to strong westerlies have prevailed northward of New Plymouth and Napier, and freshening nartherlies elsewhere. Rain has fallen on the West Coast and the Southren districts of the South Island, and fine but cloudy weather elswehere. The present indications are for high westerly winds and a falling barometer everywhere. Unsettled weather is probable generally, with rain in most parts, especially those with a westeuly aspect. Stormy weather is to be expected southward of Kawhia and Castlepoint,
