Among the successful prize-win-ners at St. Bride's Convent was Mios Vera Edwards. This young lady has, during tire 'latit four years, entered for no less than nine examinations in music, s'ndluding singinu, pianoforte, and theory, in all of which she has passed creditably, and in some cases with honours. One of this clever young lady's latest achievements is to gain the "Associate of the Trinity College, London" (A.T.C.L.), in singing. She has also received the gold medal of the Convent for singing. Miss Edwards hopes to gaih still higher honours next year, and her success is evidence of the careful ®nd sound training received at the ■Convent.
