FIRE IN WELLINGTON.
By Telegraph—Press Association. WELLINGTON, December 14. A fiie occurred at 3.19 this morning at Ingestre Place, when a five roomed house, occupied by Mrs Henrietta Lockerbie, was seriously damaged. The lire spread to adjoining houses, occupied by Mr James Kiddell and Mrs Beatrice Davis. The former building, of five rooms, was badly damaged on the first floor by fire, and the bottom floor was damaged by water. The latter, of eight rooms, had one side wall and a bedroom and contents badly damaged by fire, and the lower rooms by water. The houses are owned by Miss Emma Liddells, and were insured in the Commercial Union for £350, £220 and £250 respectively. A labourer named James Wallace, a boarder at Lockerbie's, jumped from tne upper storey window and fell on a picket fence, breaking two ribs. He was removed to the Hospital.
