BUSH FIRES. Received December 14, 11.30 p.m. SYDNEY. December 14. There was a scorching nor'-wester all day, and the thermometer in the city was a" coupie of points short of 103. There is a cool change to-night. The city is ringed with bush h'res. One bush fire at Cobramatta destroyed Hirst's sawmills and damaged the railway line.
