LAWN TENNIS.
MASTERTON CLUB.
On Saturday Afternoon last a Yankee Tournament (han licap combined) was played on tbe Masterton Lawn Tennis Club's courts, lor a trophy kindly presented by the gentlemen belonging to "The Bach." In all there were thirteen entri?s, resulting after a close and interesting competition in the following players being placel as under:—G. G. Aitken and Mis Mace st, 11 wins; E. B. Waddington and Miss Carr rec 6, 10 wins; C. Carley and Miss Gawith rec 10, 9 wins; S A. Noble-Camp-hell and Mrs Lawrence rec 8, 7 wins. All matches consisted of 20 point 3 up.
