Wednesday. STOCK SALES. Messrs Dalgety and (Jo., Ltd., held their weekly stock sale in their Mangahao Road yards on Tuesday, and report is follows:—Sheap were only represented by one line ot 4tuoth shorn wethers, which failed to reach vendors' prico. We yarded several small lots of cattle, and rcjp irt a total clearance at the following prices:—Cows in milk, £4 to £4 15s; empty cows to £3; fat cows, .£4 to £4 lis; 18 monthsd-ury heifers to£2los; 15 months steers to £2 9s; 2 year steers, £3 10s to £3 lis; bulls to £2 10s. Our next be lield in the P.F.A. yards next Tuesday, 14th itist. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Cnmpny, Ltd., report as follows on their weekly stock sale in their 'yards. Pahiatua, on Tuesday:—No sheep came forward, and only a fair yarding of cattle. There was a small attendance of buyers, owing probably to the shearing being in full swing. We quote:-Two-year steers, £3 4s, £3 7s Gd; steers, £4 13s; yearling heifers, £1 19s 6d; 2-yuir h-.if-ji.s, xz nj . 3year heifers, £2 19y, £3 8s; cows -with calf, £2 153; dairy heifers, £3 355; dairy cows, £4 6s, £4 10s, £5; bulls, £2 6s. Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report on their Pahiatua sale of yesterday as follows:—-We had a fair yarding ot sheep and cattle. Sheep told very well, exceeding the vendors' anticipations in all lines, and all classes of cattle sold well, especially young steers and heifers. We quote :—Good ewes and lamhs, 18s 5d to 20s; shorn wethers, lis id; young dry ewes, 16s 9d; store ewes, 12s 6d to 12s 9d; good, hoggets, 14s 9d and 14a lOd; small hoggets, 8s to 8s 9d; forward bullocks, £6 to £6 3s; 18 month steers, £2 13s fid; yearling steers, 35s 6d to £2 ss; cows and calves, £2 18s; forward heifers, £3 to A' 3 10d: yearling to 15 month heifers, £2 3s, £2 8s 6d, £2 9s 6d to £2 153.
