STATEMENT BY PRESIDENT TAFT,
"BARBAROUS OPPRESSION."
United Press Association—Electric Telegraph Copyright, Received December 8, 1035 p.m. NEW YORK, December 8. President Taft, in a message to Congress, dealing with the position in Nicaragua, refers to the sad tale of unseakaole barbarous oppression alleged to be committed by President Zelaya's Government. The two Americans put to death by Che order of Zelaya himself were officers of an organised force in thel revolution which had control of half of Nicaragua.
