In connection with the Wellington Cricket Association's refusal to join in with those Associations who had guaranteed for matches with the Australian team, a resolution of a special meeting of the Cricket Council waa considered by the committee, and after discussion it was una nimouly resolved tht the honorary secretary jhould write and ascertain from the various Associations who have consented to provide guarantees for matches with the Autralian team, whether or not they would be preI pared to give guarantees offered by them if the pooling system is abandoned; that is to say that each Association to whom a match is granted must pay its guarantee for that match and expenses of the match, approximating to its own use the whole profits ot the match.
