SCULLING.
THE CHAMPIONSHIP OF THE WQKLD. OFFER BY AFRICAN St'OKTSMEN. LONDON, December 3. A number of African sportsmen have offered, through the British South Atrica Company, a thousand pounds for a match between Arnst, the world's sculling champion, and B.irry, the English champion, the race to be rowed on the Zambesi Kiver, at Victoria Falls, in August; the winner to take £750. Barry has accepted the offer. Tom Sullivan, the ex-New Zealand sculler, is willing to accimpany Barry as trainer. Mr Guy Nickalls will control, the race.
