OFFENSIVE LITERATURE.
A CRUSADE. Received December 3, 8.30 a.m. LONDON, December 2. The Circulating Libraries' Association is determined not to circulate scandalous, libellous or immoral books, and those likely to prove offensive to any considerable section of subecribers. This aotion is the result ofcustomers* complaints about the recent increase in the output of doubtful books. "The Times" Club and Smith's and Mudie's are leading the movement.
