Received December 3, 8.30 a.m. LONDON, December 2. Cadbury Bros., of cocoa fame, are suing the "Standard" for alleged libel published on 28th September, 1908, commenting on the firm's delay in ceasing to purchase Principe and San Thome cocoa. S'r Edward Grey, Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, stated Mia t Cadbury's asked him to lake steps to stop the scandal in 1906. He advised them not to agitate publicly until the Foreign Office had approach- j ed Portugal.
