WELLINGTON WOOL SALES.

WELLINGTON SECOND OFFERING. The second locaJ sales by Wellington brokers takes place to-day. The offering will amount lo over 11,000 bales, and the following aie the bro kers and their lots:—Abraham and Williams, 1,000; Dalgety and Co., 4,200; Levin and Co., 2,300; Murray, Roberts and Co., 1,800; New Zealand Loan and Mercantile, 1,400; W.F.o.A. and United Farmers, 350; total, 11,050. The offerings at the December sales of last year amounted to 7,250 ! bales only. There is thus an increase I for this December sale of 3,800 bale 3. There was also an offering of 2,500 bales at the last November sile , as against 1,400 bales for the previous November, which, by the way, was 400 bales less than that of November, 1907. It will thus be seen th t the Wellington sales are now crowing in both catalogues and importance.
