Mr Lea.-mjjth sasv Mr Waie this morning and su ''sequentiy a Cabinet meeting was he! ' at Mr Wade's residence. The position in regard to the strike was discussed, but nothing was divulged as to the progress of negotiations for bringing the parties together or the Government's intentions in the event of failure. It is believed that the probability of the parties coming together is not promising.
