in ram. UPPER PLAIN RAINFALL. Mr J. C. Boddington reports as follows:—The rainfall on the Upper Plain for the 24 hours up till 9 am. on Wednesday was 23 points. Ram fell on 16 days in November. The maximum fall in 24 hours was 56 points on the 21st, and the minimum 1 p.Mnt on the 19th. The total for the month was 1.83 inches, as againat 2.92, 3.93, 3.97, 1.83, &nd 1.6u i., r 1904, 1905, 1906. 1907, an 1 191)8. The tota" for eleven months wn 35 19, as against 43.17, 47.90, 39 ' 60, 53.12 and 30.85 fjr tha c uvssponding period in 1904, 1905, 190 5, : 1907 a"d 1908.
