FEILDING RACES.
By Telegraph—■ Press Association, FEILDING, December 1. For the concluding day of the Feildins races the weather was fine, and the fields large. The racing was good, and them were no accidents. Twelve bookmakers plied th.ir calling inside and ten outside. The totalisator receipts for the meeting amounted to £17,143, against £W h 983 last year. Results:— York Stakes—Nyland, 7.2, 1; Sir Antrim, 7.6,2; Sharpshooter, 7.3,8. A!eo started—lrish Rifle, Golden Eagle, Miss Winnie, Bliss, Narcotic Sir Antrim put in a challenge but could not catch Nvland, who won by two lengths, Sharpshooter a length, away third. Golden Eagle was last. Time, lmin 14 X-ssee.
Mikau Hack Handicap—Magneto, 8.1, 1: Rangikura, 8.0, 2; Shannon Lass, 8.10, 3. Also started—-Thetis, Toanga, Waiouru, Dervish, Singer, Leahora, Bravery, Field Bell. The placed horses fought out the finish, the winner getting the verdict by half a neck; half a length being between second anc* bird. Field Bell was last. Time, lmin 15Jsec. Manchester H:indicap--Merrivonia, 75, 1; Kilwinning, 7.8, 2; Roosevelt, 8.13, 3. Also started—Waipaku, Paisano, Mendip, Tiptoe, Truganini. The field was despatched to a good start. When the stand was passed Kilwinning, Waipaku and Truganini were at the head of affairs, and Mendip last. At the six furlongs post Merrivonia improved her position into third place. Kilwinning; and Truganini were still in front. Turning for home Paisano was lying handy. Halfway up the straight Merrivonia came again, catching Kilwinning, and beating him home by two lengths. A length separated second and third. Time, 2min 8 3-5
sec. Cheltenham Hurdles—Feu de Joie, 9.0, 1; Reumac, 10.10, 2; Whimper, 9.7, 3. Also startsd— Tyrannic, Stayboy, Polyanthus,. WhataKura. Tyrannic led the field for a mile, when he was passed by Feu de Joie and Reumac, Feu de Joie winning on the post by a head. Whimper was half a dozen lengths away third, lime, Rongotea Hack Hurdles—Master Paul, 9.7. l; Pearl Reef, 10.10, 2; Genuine, 10.10,3. Also started-Don Carles, Arcadia, Chasse. Master Pat I led all the way, winning by half a dozen lengths. Time, 2min 51 1 ssec. Welter Hack Flat-Parable, 8.9, 1; Teotane, 8.11, 2; Astraea, 9.4. 3. Also started: King'*, Prize, Bismark, Guiding Step, Midian, Cbauvelin, Paparaehi, Motukawa, Rangi kapua, Envoy, Silva, Rapu. At the straight entrance Parable headed Teotane, and coming on won by a length and ahalf; half a length being between second aid third. Bi3mark was fourth. Time, Imin 59sec Maiden Hack Scurry—Amphianser, 1; Nukuhau, 2; Separator, 3. Also started—Moree, Plantation, Miss Sylvia, Nelius, Pilgrim's March, East Wind, Handsome Maid, Captain, Idolatress, Jackman, Idealism. Bland, Vida, Melologue. Separator led Into the straight, where she was passed by Amphianser. Nukuhau ran into second place opposite the stand, and finished two lengths behind th 9 winner. Miss Sylvia was left at tbe post, and took no part in the race. Time, Imin lOsec.
Railway Welter—Vi, 1; Full Sail, 2; Longner, 3. Scratched—Paisano, San Fernando, Captain Bell and Notorious. Vi got the best of a good start, and led throughout, winning by two lengths; half a length between second and third. Time, lmin 29sec.
