WELLINGTON v. WAIRARAPA. An inter-centre taurnament—the first in which the newly format] Wairarapa Centre has taken part—was played on the Thorndon bowling greens on 'Lhursday last. The defenders proved too skilled for the men from the hinterland, the board when the last head had been played showing Wellington 230, Wairarapa 160.
