HAWERA SHOW.
By Telegraph—Press Association. HAWERA, November 24. There was fine weather, good entries, and h satisfactory attendance for judging day at the Hawera Show. There were splendid exhibits in cattle and horses, and the rin<? com ■ petitions were warmly contested. The championships were awarded as fol'owr —Shorthorn cow, G. A. Turner, also reserve champion; Shorthorn bull, G. A. Turner; Hereford cow and bull, G. F. Moore; Aberdeen Angus cow and bull, J. J. Campbell; Polled Durham cow, J. H. Sellers; Dutch Fresian cow and bull, Newton King; Ayrshire cow, Olsen Bros.; Aryshire bull, Brown Bros.; Jersey cow, C. ularke; Jersey bull, J. S. T. Short; Lincoln ram and ewe r W. H. WyDourne; English Leicester ram, R. Bremer; Border Leicester ram and ewe, G. V. Pearce; Romney Marsh ram, D. Willis; Shropshire Down ram, J. R. Corrigan; Southdwan ram and ewe, S. Knight r Berkshire boar and sow, Yorkshire sow and Polaad China sow, J. E. Sellers; Black Devon boar, Mrs H> H. Slack, also champion boar on the ground.
