STOCK MARKET.
Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report on their Eketahuna sale held on Friday last as follows:—We had a good yarding of both sheep and cattle. Sheep were rather hard to quit under the -hammer, but cattle sold well up to late rates. We quote the following prices:—Ewes with lambs at foot, 18s to 18s 4d; fat wethers, shorn, lis; fat shorn ewes, 10s; good shorn store wethers, 10s 7d; 2-year steers, £'d 12s 6d; empty cows, "£2 14s fid; empty yearling heifers, £1 Is to £2 13s; mixed yearlings, £2 Is; 2 year Lieifers to £3 3s 6d; weaners, 10s; pigs, slips, 17s 6d.
