METEOROLOGICAL.
By Teleeraph—Press Association. WELLINGTON, -November 19 The fallowing is Rev. D. C. Bates' summary and foreca-t:—-Showery weather has been experienced in many parts with considerable rainfall in both the extreme North and Southern districts. The winds have be2n variable and squally. Occasionally the barometer has risen twotenths in the southernmost districts, but has fallen slightly elsewhere. The conditions are rather ominous in the extreme North, and a westerly area of low pressure is smartly approaching from across the Tasman Sea with the lowest pressure due to pass in the South about Sunday night. The present indications are for northerly winds, strong to gale, rain generally and falling barometer everywhere.
