Bernard Wilson, Canon of Winchester, and formerly vicar of St. John's Cathedral, Brisbane, has been sworn at £43,363. Deceased bequeathed his lands in Queensland to church purposes; also £SOO to Brisbane Cathedra!, £SOO to Church endowment funds in Brisbane, and £IOO to the New Guinea mission. WONDERLAND OF NEW ZEALAND. BY CINEMATOGRAPH. Received November 18, 9 p.m. SYDNEY, November 18. At the instance of the Government i tourist agency a lirge riuhnber of Sydney business men and residents were given a private view of cinematograph films depicting the wonderland of New Zealand, views of the fiords and Maori lite. The display was much appreciated. After Sydney the views will be shown throughout the country.
