Buchanan, is as follows: Gladstone School (Miss M. H. Piggford, mistress), 75 points (the possible) 1 Carterton School (Mr A. N. Burns, headmaster) 2 Clareville School (Mr J. M. Beechey, headmaster) 3 Featherston S*hool (Mr F. C. Ewerton. headmaster) 4 Mr A. R. Hadfield was judge. The shield has been win as fol • lows:— Gladstone School, 1908, Clareville School, 1909 Gladstone School
