RACING. J WAIRARAPA RACING CLUB. SUMMER MEETING.. The Wairarapa Racing Club has | drawn up a very attractive pro- j gramm- for its Su-mmer Meeting, I which is 't» be held on January Ist and 3rd, 1910. Although the minor events remain at the same value as at the last Summer fixture, the stake i money in the principal events has been increased. The chief event of the meeting is the Wairarapa Cup, which has been raised from 350 sovs to 400 sovs, while the Reynolds Handicap, also run on the first day, is now worth 150 sovs intead of 115 s'jv. On the second day the Racing Club Handicap has gone up from 225 sovs to 250 sovs, and the Russell Handicap from 125 sovs to 150 sovs. Nominations close with the Secretary, Mr E. A. Laery, Featherston, on December 10th, handicips will be declared on December 18th, and acceptances are due on December 22nd.
