DESTRUCTIVE STORMS.
ROUGH WEATHER IN QUEENSLAND. CROPS AND ORCHARDS RUINED. Received November 15, 10.15 a.m. BRISBANE, November 15. A destructive hailstorm has swept a large area of the south-eastern dis tricts of Queensland/ In many places jagged lumps of ice fell, piercing iron roofs. Thousands of window panos have been broken, and crops, orchards, and gardens destroyed. The damage round about Brisbane alone amounts to some thousands of pounds. HURRICANE IN BERLIN. TWO PERSONS KILLED. Received November 15, 8.3" a.m. BERLIN, November 14. Much damage has been caused by a hurricane in Ber'in. Two persons were killed and thirty injured.
