A young man named Charles iirown residing with his mother in Springfield road, at an early hour this morning, saddenly developed homicidal mania, and attacked his mother with a carvingjknife in a violent and determined manner. An elder brother was present and saved his mother from being seriously injured. The police were sent for and Brown . fled. The police are searching for him.
