A DEPUTATION

Received November 12, 10.20 p.m LONDON, November 12.

The Earl of Crewe, in reply to a deputation consisting of 14 members of the Forward Suffrage Union of the Women's Liberal Federation said it was impossible to make the queation of whether women should have a vote a plank at the election. Dwelling on the sharp differences of tne Government and Parliament he remarked that if the ques tion were put in the House of Commons as it now standa suffrage would be largely beaten.
