TRAIN RUNS INTO A TRAP. DRIVER KILLED. By Telegraph—Press Association. CHRISICHURCH, Nov. 5. The first express from the South to night when approaching Islington ran into a horse and trap. The driver was killed and the other occupants thrown out, but not seriously injured. Later. Sydney Charles Free, dentist, of Christchurch, was the driver of the trap smashed up by the railway train near Islington to-night. The horse was also killed. Neither the driver nor guard of the train saw the accident. LABOURER KILLED BY A TRAIN. WANGANUI, Novembers. A man, named Alex. McGregor, a labourer, residing at Wangaehu, was killed by a goods train at Wangaehu late to-night. The body was frightfully mannjled.
