STOCK MARKET.
The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Ltd., report on their Masterton stock sale yesterday as follows: —Entries were somewhat limited. Sheep were represented by ewes and lambs, two pens offering. Competition under the hammer w as not brisk, each lot failing to reach owners' reserve, and business had to be done privately. In cattle the offering was small, which gave no indication of the market. Medium quality ewes and lambs brought up to 17s, weaner pigs, small, lis to 12s.
