THOMPSON-PAYNE PICTURES.
The Foresters' Hall was well filled last night, when Messrs Thompson and Payne presented their splendid collection of films. There will be an entire change of programme tonight. when another fine series will be produ " This excellent enter • tainment is meeting with thd greatest of praise from all who wit ness it, and is undoubtedly one of the best educations for both young and old. The different occupations pursued by people in foreign countries, their daily life, are all faithfully depicted. There is not a dull moment, the interest is kept up all through, and the subjects are so arranged as to do away with constant repetition of similar subjects. Mr Pearson, the local manager for Messrs Thompson and Payne, states that in the near future, they intend to take views of Masterton, and some of the leading shearing sheds, and these pictures would be shown throughout Wew Zealand and Australia. At present the moving picture camera is operating in Napier. Messrs Thompson and Payne wish to notify the Masterton public that they will present complete changes of programme every Wednesday and Saturday, and assure patrolis that they will produce only the best pictures.
